SESA-Safety & Environmental Services Australia Pty Ltd (SESA) complies with the Privacy Act 1988 and applies its principles which covers the handling, collection, use, storage and disclosure of all client information. The laws requires that organisations clearly outline what type of information they hold, the reasons this information is held, the way in which it is used and in what circumstances it is disclosed.
We may in the course of our dealings directly or indirectly with our clients collect personal or sensitive information about the client or the client business, or staff of the client business. We only collect information on a need to know basis to assist us in providing a service to the client.
SESA will collect personal information to be able to develop and identify products and services that may be of interest to you, unless you advise us not to. The usual type of information includes, but is not limited to, your e-mail address, phone number, postal address, workplace conditions and situations.
If you do not wish to provide the information requested, we may not be able to provide the appropriate type, or level of service, or product you require.
Information collected is used for the purpose of providing that service to you. Information is collected directly from you. Information required from third parties, such as service providers, is obtained following receipt of consent from the parties concerned.
SESA requires that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge at the time of providing the information. Where relevant, you must meet the requirements of the National Privacy Principles when you collect, use and handle personal information on our behalf.
We aim to ensure the security of the information we collect, and take all reasonable measures to ensure it is not misused, lost, modified or disclosed to unauthorised parties. Information may be stored electronically or in hard copy.
